Opening the door of the Spa is enough to begin to feel a different energy. The kindness that emanates from each of the people who are at the reception is only the first step toward what will come later.
The Corotú Spa is located in the heart of Buenaventura and it has also earned a special place in the community. During the pandemic, the staff began to make house calls with the highest standards of biosecurity and service.
With a long list of services including massages, body and facial treatments, hair stylists, and even children’s services, the spa takes a totally holistic approach and has five private treatment rooms with specialists who are renowned among guests and the community.
Oderay Lorenzo, a stylist with more than thirteen years at the Spa tells us an anecdote. “I have seen so many children grow up who are now young. From elementary school until today they are in college. One feels a special affection for the clients. In addition, things have changed a lot because before you untangled their hair and gave them a blower and now they come with their keratin”, smiles Oderay.
“Massages are also a unique experience. Some people look at my colleagues – most of whom have a slim build – and say, ‘Are you the one who is going to assist me?’ Everything changes as soon as the massage begins and the hands of the masseuse begin their work. In the end, you almost always hear a “let me see your hands, they are so powerful!”.
Oderay does not hesitate to highlight the satisfaction she feels for the gratitude of her customers. “It makes us very happy when they hug us to thank us for what we have done for them,” she said.
