“We are happy to have a world-class Academy here in Buenaventura for the second consecutive year. The experience that the team of coaches from the Juan Carlos Ferrero Academy brings is enormous and it will surely contribute a lot to our players”.
The words of Juan Pablo Aguilera, director of the Buenaventura Sport Club, reaffirm his commitment to having great experiences for sports fans. The presence of the Rafa Nadal Academy last year gave rise to the search for new training alternatives for tennis players. This is how the initiative to bring the Juan Carlos Ferrero Academy was born.
The former player’s academy, today the coach of current world No. 1 Carlos Alcaraz, brings a program focused on improving athlete’s technique and tactics through an
exclusive training methodology that is based on the many years of experience that JC Ferrero and his team have accumulated throughout their years in the ATP circuit.
The idea is to have different activities both on and off the court so that attendees work on the technical, tactical, and mental concepts of the sport and thus improve their game.
The camp will take place from January 9th to 14th, 2023. A training week that will be divided into 4 groups:
Orange ball (Children 7 to 8 years old)
Green point (Children from 8 to 10 years old)
Normal ball (Players from 11 to 18 years old)
The hours for the first three categories will be between 9:00 am and 6:00 pm, while the adults will do it between 7:00 and 9:00 am.
