“The Woods is inspired by family and the development of properties that take advantage of the best of Buenaventura. That open space with independence and a sense of privacy that the trees provide.” This is how Lucas Zarak, Director of Equinox, describes the essence of the project.
The project -which has already been put up for sale- is in full infrastructure work and will be ready by the summer of 2023. Seven of its lots face the golf course, while the other two face the river side and the Marina, with an average size of 4,800 m2 per panel.
“Harmony with nature is part of our vision. The land allows us to have low density and, at the same time, to be able to offer different developmental options in each lot, as long as they comply with all the guidelines that Buenaventura requires,” said the promoter.
For example, land next to the golf course allows buildings up to 12 meters high, while those facing the river up to 15 meters high. “In other words, one could build two apartments on the ground floor, two apartments on the first floor and one apartment on the top floor in the first lots, so that the buildings are basically embedded within the forest, where the trees are between 25 and 30 meters high”.
Equinox already has experience developing communities within Buenaventura. They were part of Paseo del Mar, next to the Puntarena Beach Club, which has been admired for its architecture and elegance.
Lucas Zarak wanted to make an invitation to the entire community of residents. “I would like you to learn about the project. I think it’s very interesting and focused on family and friends, which I think is the most beautiful and important to notice how Buenaventura was inspired by since its inception. Our idea is to be able to develop something where people grow, have fun and share with family and friends.”
