Hundreds of people gathered in the Puntarena square to have fun with the sound of drums under the full moon. While paddle tennis fans were finally able to enjoy the two new courts with a tournament that crowned the first Buenaventura champions.
The full moon of February 18 was the ideal setting for hundreds of people to gather at the main square of Puntarena to enjoy the “Night of Drums”. A night full of fun to the rhythm of Alfredo Hidrovo and his Full Moon of drums. The event was sponsored by Bac Credomatic and Más Móvil.
On Saturday, February 19, the first two paddle tennis courts were inaugurated at the Buenaventura Sports Club. The event began with the blessing of the slopes and then a few words from Diego Vallarino. At the end of the protocol act, the fans of the game disputed the Inaugural Tournament. The winners were Rafa Zevallos and Juan Arias Jr in the sum 4 category and Ricardo J. Alfaro and Héctor Ortega in the sum 8 tournament.
