If there is something fun in Buenaventura during the month of January, it is seeing children and teenagers enjoy the activities offered by the different camps that are organized.
Always accompanied by their parents, children enjoy nature and the different natural environments such as those offered by the beach, the zoo or the Sports Club.
Two recognized camps are La Escondida and the Sports Club. Each one with a proposal based on their values, but all are developed to entertain and amuse their attendees.
BEACH CAMP LA ESCONDIDA
It is probably the most traditional camp in Buenaventura. For years, it has brought together dozens of children and teenagers around a series of activities, including kayaking, ropes, soccer, American football, swimming, volleyball, bow and arrow, excursions, ultimate frisbee, arts & crafts, cooking, music, camp games and close the day with bonfires at the beach.
For children between 2 and 14 years old.

BUENAVENTURA SPORTS CAMP
Since its inauguration, the Sport Club has been organizing fun sports activities for all sports fans. And minors also have their space here in a camp that takes advantage of all the facilities in Buenaventura -including the beach and the golf course- to offer the participants the possibility of partaking in more than 10 sports disciplines among which are soccer, tennis, basketball, golf, introduction to surfing, racquetball, recreational games, beach games, ‘olympic games’, swimming, paddle tennis. It is guaranteed fun for sports lovers.
