One thing that distinguishes Buenaventura from others, is the number of gastronomic options that exist for residents. For all tastes and palates. But, what are the dishes and drinks that are trending this season? The team led by Victor and Adrian gave us the answers.

The summer season progresses and the restaurants of Buenaventura are always booked. Sunsets and breezy nights are spectacular for dining out with friends, taking advantage of the gastronomic options that are available.

“Moscow Mule and Aperol Spritz are the winners. Ceviches are always refreshing, the Fried Fish with fried plantains and the tuna tartare”, answered Víctor Concepción Peré, General Manager of the hotel, without hesitation, when asked about the dishes and drinks that are trending this season.

For Adrián Sánchez, Restaurant & Bar Manager at Mansa, innovation in gastronomy is important. But above all, generate differentiated offers according to the diners who attend each of the restaurants.

“Among golfers, the Bloody Mary will always be a favorite,” he said before continuing. “For appetizers, our minced trays such as the Surf & Turf are working very well for us, especially around the pool.”

For Sánchez “the Aperol Spritz and the Moscow Mule are very close. During the summer, the Mojito is always the classic that never fails, and this year the margaritas have also been popular. The classic one, those with flavors and a special Tamarind one that is very popular. Among the beers our guests are ordering a lot of light beers”.

BVA: And Mansa?

AS:  At the restaurant, the clams are selling well to pair lunches with white wine. And among the meats we have some Baby Back Ribs that are also quite popular.

BVA: What wines?

AS: The Albarinos. The three most requested wine brands are of this type of grape. It really surprised me when I looked at the data. But it is a good option for these summer days.
