Works on the main road

Since last summer, the PH Administration has been implementing a campaign called “Safe Community”. An initiative that seeks to socialize and raise awareness about the norms and regulations and the importance of respecting traffic rules within our space.

With good results during the high season, the campaign is active again, especially now that the widening of the main road is nearing completion. In addition to moving from 6 to 9 meters, a new asphalt layer was worked on.

“It is important for the community to know that this extension includes two shoulders of 1.5 meters each so that pedestrians and cyclists can circulate freely. For this, the friendly lane signage will be painted”, said Alejandro Rivera, Administrator of PH Buenaventura.

One of the keys to maintaining safety and good coexistence in the community is that signage and traffic regulations must be respected. The speed limit for the movement of ALL vehicles within the complex is 40 km/h.

“Furthermore, we remind you that at roundabouts it is important to give way to those who are already circulating inside as well as those vehicles that are traveling at a slower speed can give way – moving a little to the right side as long as there are no pedestrians and cyclists close- who is going to overtake them”, concluded the administrator.

Let us prevent our streets from becoming unsafe places. Let us avoid accidents and continue to maintain the spirit of community and respect that characterizes us so much.
